Public Expression & Recording Rights Notice This document affirms the constitutional rights of the bearer, a member or representative of Wizard City Productions LLC, to engage in expressive conduct including but not limited to performance, documentation, journalism, and public speech within public spaces of the Texas State Capitol and any publicly accessible government grounds.
1. Legal Basis Under the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and Article I, Section 8 of the Texas Constitution, citizens have the right to freedom of speech, expression, and the press. This includes the right to record public officials in public spaces, and to engage in satirical, artistic, or critical expression without requiring a permit, as long as such expression does not physically disrupt proceedings.
2. Nature of Activity The bearer of this notice is currently engaged in a creative or journalistic activity under Wizard City Productions LLC. This activity may include live performance, satire, parody, peaceful commentary, and lawful recording of events or officials. Such acts fall within the bounds of expressive political speech and public art. ABKB 14 IS A FAKE NEWS CHANNEL ON OUR WEBSITE.
3. Notice to Authorities and Observers If this document is presented to law enforcement, security, or Capitol staff, it is to formally inform that the individual(s) involved are acting lawfully and in good faith. Interference with these rights without lawful cause may constitute a violation of civil liberties under state and federal law.
This ONLINE document certifies that the bearer is an official member or representative of Wizard City Productions LLC, participating in a legally protected creative and journalistic activity. This includes the use of character-based performance, parody, satire, public commentary, or documentary recording in public spaces.
Under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and Article I, Sections 8 and 27 of the Texas Constitution, this activity constitutes protected speech and expression. Recording of public officials and public proceedings is also protected by relevant case law, including Glik v. Cunniffe (2011) and Turner v. Driver (2017), provided it occurs in spaces where the general public is lawfully permitted.
This is not an act of protest or disruption, but a performance art project and/or citizen media activity. It is not intended to impersonate or obstruct government, law enforcement, or private operations. This is a bit. It is part of a live or recorded creative project being documented by Wizard City Productions.

By entering a public space where Wizard City Productions is filming, recording, or performing, you acknowledge and accept the following:
We make satire. We make memes. We tell stories using absurdist comedy, parody, and public commentary.
If that makes you uncomfortable — congratulations, the art is working.If you are filmed, recorded, or memed during a Wizard City project in a public setting, you consent to your appearance being used in media for artistic, editorial, and comedic purposes. Under Texas Penal Code § 42.01 and applicable federal court rulings, you may not interfere with constitutionally protected recording in public. Doing so may subject you to civil liability. Under Turner v. Driver (5th Cir. 2017), individuals have the right to record public officials and public activity in spaces where they are lawfully present.
This includes interviews, b-roll, background footage, and even your weird facial expressions. You are entering a recorded space. Your presence constitutes a release of your likeness for editorial, artistic, comedic, and journalistic use. We use parody, satire, absurdist humor, and documentary performance in public and semi-public spaces. This includes filming, interviewing, creating memes, and editorial content using individuals present in public.
We do not seek your approval.
By being in a public place, you have no reasonable expectation of privacy.
If you're dumb enough to yell something wild in front of our camera — that’s on you.We are not here to defame you. We are here to document culture — and sometimes roast it.
If your feelings get hurt by jokes made in public spaces, consult the First Amendment. If you speak, gesture, or otherwise engage on camera, you waive the right to claim defamation, emotional harm, or misrepresentation, provided such content remains within legal bounds of parody, public commentary, or satire.By remaining present, you release Wizard City Productions LLC and its artists, actors, editors, and tiny puppet goblins from any claim of defamation, misrepresentation, emotional harm, or copyright over your image. Again any attempt to interfere with, disrupt, censor, or intimidate performers, documentarians, or journalists engaged in non-obstructive recording will be documented and may be pursued as a civil rights violation under 42 U.S.C. § 1983.
This document serves as a formal notice and legal disclaimer regarding the activities of Wizard City Productions LLC. Wizard City Productions is a Texas-based multimedia collective engaging in constitutionally protected expressive activity under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and Article I, Section 8 of the Texas Constitution.
FINAL NOTICE: By remaining present, you agree not to sue, harass, or threaten Wizard City Productions, its members, or affiliated artists. If you do, we reserve the right to respond with a civil countersuit under Texas Civil Practice & Remedies Code Chapters 73 and 27 (Anti-SLAPP).
